The front of the Nike x Sacai collaboration
Sacai and the swoosh brand have been collaborating since 2015 on highly popular models. Before this more than successful collaboration, the Sacai brand was a "small" brand of knitted clothing in Tokyo. Obviously, the latter quickly made a place for itself in the Fashion Week parades, making it become a recognized brand.
The famous collaboration, which illuminates the two brands
In 2015, Sacai and Nike teamed up to create a collection that combined elements from both brands. Typical Nike sportswear, such as track jackets and tracksuits, are reworked by Abe with the incorporation of bold colors into the range. This NikeLab collaboration proved to be a huge success for Sacai, providing the brand with more global exposure. In 2019, the two brands release their very popular "Blazer With The Dunk" collection which combines the Nike Blazer and Nike SB Dunk shoe models with Sacai know-how: the shoe includes twice the elements of a typical shoe, including including double tabs. Based on the same idea, they launched the LDWaffle in the same year using the Nike Waffle Daybreak and the Nike LDV Fusion to create a new successful concept.
